Who we are
Baseok ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are based in the United Kingdom and comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us and the data needed to run the service:
- Account details: name, work email, company, and password;
- Connection data: tokens and metadata for the tools you authorise (we never store the passwords of your connected tools);
- Usage data: commands you run and product interactions, to operate and improve Baseok;
- Communications: messages you send us via forms or email.
Why we use it
We process your data to provide and secure the service, execute the commands and automations you set up, unify and surface your business information, communicate with you, and meet legal obligations. Our legal bases are performance of a contract, your consent (where asked), legitimate interests, and legal compliance.
Isolation & sharing
Each user's connected accounts are fully isolated from one another. Your data is never visible to other Baseok users and is never sold. We share data only with processors that help us run the service (for example, cloud hosting) under strict contractual safeguards, or where required by law.
Security
All connections use industry-standard OAuth 2.0, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We apply access controls, monitoring, and regular review. Learn more on our security page.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email us and we'll respond within the statutory timeframe. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it, except where we must retain it for legal reasons.
